A simple stamping Christmas card with two inks, one piece of card and one stamp set

I thought I'd make my first use of the Snowflake Wishes stamp set to create a very simple stamped card (suitable for casual stampers) and then a stepped up version for the more avid card maker.

I used the Misty Moonlight ink for the little background snowflakes but stamped it off first onto a piece of scrap paper.

The white base cards are made with the Thick Whisper White card and the stamped layer is the normal Whisper White card.

Whale Of A Time Birthday Card

#thecraftythinker #stampinup #cardmaking #simplecard #whaleofatime , Whale Of A Time Suite, Simple card, Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Stephanie Fischer, Sydney NSW
A really easy card featuring the Whale Of A Time Suite - suitable for any age group

I always have difficulties when it comes to making cards for children - probably because, when it comes to purchasing stamps and dies, I'm drawn to things like flowers!

So when I saw the products in the Whale Of A Time Suite, I thought they could be multipurpose - and I think it works.  This card is for my under 12 great-nephew.  For a younger child, I'd feature the whale image.

Another bonus?  It's sooo quick and easy!

I trimmed a piece of the Whale Of A Time 6" x 6" paper to fit my Pacific Point base card. Then randomly stamped the jelly fish, turtle, sea horse and fish.  I double stamped the fish so that some appear a bit further away.

Then I stamped the greeting and adhered a few of the very pretty Whale Of A Time Sequins.

All done in a matter of minutes!  .... but don't tell anyone how little effort it required - it'll be our little secret!

#thecraftythinker #stampinup #cardmaking #beautifullybraided #simplestamping , Beautifully Braided, Simple Stamping, Thank you card, Stampin' Up Demonstrator, Stephanie Fischer, Sydney NSW
Pure and Simple stamping

One stamp set (Beautifully Braided), one ink pad (Blueberry Bushel), one piece of cardstock (Balmy blue) - pure simple stamping.

Step it up by adding some colour to the flowers

To step it up a little, add some colour to the flowers.  I used Stampin' Blends in the Balmy Blue Combination.

Use a sentiment from a different stamp set if you wish

Step it up in a different way by using a sentiment in a larger font from a different stamp set (this one is from Magnolia Blooms).

This simple stamping card uses the Beautifully Braided stamp set, Purple Posy cardstock and Gorgeous Grape ink

Then step this up by adding colour to the flowers - I used the Highland Heather and Purple Posy Combination packs of Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.

For the final step up, add a layer to the card.  Rhinestones, ribbon and/or sequins would be other good additions
Step it up one more time by stamping onto a layer and adhering that to a base card - in this case I made my base card from Gorgeous Grape cardstock.
