I'm having so much fun with the Delicate Lace Edgelits! These cards are perfect for when you don't feel like doing much stamping or perhaps you're just starting your creative journey and want to use minimal products.

The ombre effect on this card is achieved with two strips each of Basic Black, Basic Gray, Smoky Slate and Whisper White. These are all mounted on a piece of Basic Black cardstock 6.75" x 4.5". The Lovely Lipstick base card is made from an A4 sheet cut to
7" x 9.5" and folded in half.

I used my bone folder to slightly curl the lace before I adhered it for a pretty, dimensional look. The greeting, which is white heat embossed, is from the Floral Frames stamp set and is quite general, creating an all-purpose card. I used the Pretty Label Punch to cut out the greeting.
The With Sympathy version is created in the same way using a greeting from the Painted Glass stamp set. However, I used layers of Basic Black, Basic Gray, Gray Granite and Very Vanilla for this card.

The finishing touches are the Gorgeous Grape Mini Striped Ribbon and the matching Glitter Enamel Dots. The base card is made from Basic Gray cardstock.

Before adhering the lace, I did a little trimming on all but the top layer. The photo below illustrates the process I used.

I trimmed off the top edge and then, using snips, I smoothed off the "V" shapes at the top of the lace.

After giving the lace a slight curl, I added some Multi Purpose Liquid Glue to the back as shown in the photo above. I overlapped and off-set the layers as I adhered them

Once the glue was sufficiently dry, I trimmed away the excess lace from the edges - I used a guillotine but it can also be done with a pair of snips.

It doesn't have to be monochrome! For this last card, I used layers of Very Vanilla, Blushing Bride, Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape. The greeting is from the Floral Frames stamp set, cut out with the coordinating Foliage Frame die (available as a bundle for 10% saving)
