Delightfully Detailed Blueberry

Another fond farewell - this time to the gorgeous Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut paper.

Saying farewell to the gorgeous Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut paper
I used a sponge brayer to add Blueberry Bushel ink to the delicate paper and then adhered it to a watercolour background.  I always have a bunch of backgrounds stacked in a corner.  I think this one had Bermuda Bay and Blueberry Bushel inks - so I used those colours for the rest of the card.

The white frame is cut with the Stitched Rectangles dies and I've added some Blueberry Bushel ribbon as well as the Granite Gray ribbon.

The greeting and label are from the Darling Label Punch Box. TIP:  I used a Blueberry Bushel Stampin' Write Marker to ink up just the swirl on the stamp and stamped it upside down on top of the sentiment.

TIP:  To colour the edges of the label I used a ruler and a Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blend alcohol marker, just freehanding around the curves.

Broadway Bound for Foliage Frames

We'll take a little break from Christmas card for a quick birthday card!

Black & gold is so elegant and sophisticated!  Broadway Bound, Foliage Frames and Darling Label Punch

As a big fan of black and gold, I just love the Broadway Bound Designer Series Paper.  It does have lovely bright colours on the opposite sides - but I can't get past the black and gold!

This card started off, like so many, as a leftover sitting on my desk.  I cut the gold Foliage Frame for this card and rejected it in favour of black.  So for this card I merely did a little gold heat embossing, a little punching and cutting et voila!

Pick A Pennant For You - Hinge Step

Having used the Pick A Pennant stamp set and Hinge Step Technique with the Stamparatus for this black and white card, I decided to try something similar with some colour.

Hinge Step Technique with the Stamparatus and Pick A Pennant stamp set
The base card is Coastal Cabana with layers of Calypso Coral and Very Vanilla under the decorated Gray Granite layer which is stamped with Coastal Cabana and Calypso Coral inks.

It doesn't show in this photograph but I added a layer of Wink of Stella to the pennants before I added the spots and stripes.

The birthday greeting is one of the stamps included in the Darling Label Punch Box and I punched it out with the coordinating punch which is also included in the box.  The tin itself is so gorgeous that one could be forgiven for buying it just for pleasure of having the box!

There are so many rectangles on the card that I chose to adhere the Darling Label onto a circle of Coastal Cabana cut with one of the Layering Circles dies.  This is adhered to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
