One Wild Ride Baby Card

My niece and her husband have just added a baby daughter to their family and I wanted to make a baby card that would resonate with them.
Baby Card, One Wild Ride, Moon Baby, #thecraftythinker, stampin up Australia Demonstrator, Stephanie Fischer, Sydney NSW
I really love the new Berry Burst colour!

When my niece's husband first joined the family he rode a motorbike that he loved but he gave it up in order to buy a car suitable for their growing family.

So, while a little unorthodox, this card is an acknowledgement of his sacrifice.  I also like the sentiment very much.

The patterned paper is in the new In-Colour, Berry Burst, from the new Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack.  The card is an A5 piece of Berry Burst cardstock folded in half.

I used a Basic Black and Berry Burst Stampin' Write Marker to ink the sentiment stamp and then fussy cut it.

Thank you for visiting.

A splash of colour adds some pop to the card

The simple layout of Amy's card appeals to me and it also reminded me that I needed some more masculine cards in my stash!

Like Amy, I kept the colour scheme simple but I did add the splash of red to make it pop.

I hope you've enjoyed this card and I welcome your comments.

One Wild Ride

My niece's husband will soon be celebrating another birthday and I just had to use this stamp set for his card (actually I bought it with him in mind!).  His motorbike was his pride and joy but marriage and children required an exchange from two wheels to four.

I didn't capture it in the photo, but there is Clear Wink of Stella on the bike.
I think this stamp set has great images that can be appreciated even by those without bikes.  It's also a very versatile set, since it has so many cool elements.  It's on my wish list but I don't yet own the Best Badge punch, so I hand cut the badge.

I love the grunge elements and great greetings in this set

The inspiration for the layout came from this sketch I saw on Pinterest.
