Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop - Sale-A-Bration / 2020 Occasions Catalogue Sneak Peek: Country Club Suite

Our theme this month is to provide sneak peeks from the new 2020 Occasions Catalogue and the Sale-A-Bration Brochure - I've used products from the Country Club Suite.

I was so excited to find the Country Club Suite in the new catalogue - my life is full of golfers!

The golfer in the top card was stamped and coloured before cutting him out with the coordinating die.  He's layered onto a background of Country Club Designer Series Paper.

The greeting is stamped in Night of Navy.  The greeting and the Crushed Curry layer are both cut with dies from the Stitched So Sweetly die set.

It was so much fun to colour in the images included in the Country Club Designer Series Paper and it made for a quick and easy masculine card

The next card is very similar but this time I cheated and cut out and coloured one of the line drawing panels on one of the Country Club Designer Series Paper sheets.  I cut it out with one of the Stitched So Sweetly dies.

The Itty Bitty Greeting is cut out with one of the dies in the Clubhouse Bundle and mounted onto a piece of Night of Navy cardstock cut out with one of the Stitched Rectangles dies.

These products will be available from January to June 2020 and Sale-A-Bration will run from 3 January to 31 March 2020 which provides the opportunity to obtain FREE products. For example, purchasing the Country Club paper and Club House Bundle provided me with one free product!

Elfie Against a Basic Pattern - A Christmas Card

I just love these elves - they're cute, fun to colour and versatile when it comes to card design and composition.  This is a sneak peek of a couple of items in the new Holiday Catalogue.

#Elfie stampset and Basic Pattern Decorative Masks

I chose to fussy cut these images and place them on my card because this card design was really about the background.

For the background I used one of the new Basic Pattern Decorative Masks.  Having placed it onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock, I spritzed it with a solution of Bermuda Bay ink.  I then quickly, but carefully, lifted off the mask and allowed the background to dry.  The mask just rinses clean and I leave it to dry ready for the next use.  I added quite a bit of water this time so the colour came out more like Pool Party.

TIP:  To make the spritzing solution, I simply placed a few drops of Bermuda Bay ink from a refill bottle into a Stampin' Spritzer and filled with water then gave it a shake.  I keep a few of my favourite colours in spritzers - but I make sure to label them!

I coloured the images with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers and I cut out the sentiment with frames from the Frosted Bouquet Die set.

Ink it! Stamp it! International Design Team Blog Hop - Occasions Catalogue Sneak Peeks

Welcome to the Ink It! Stamp It! Design Team Blog Hop - we hop every month so be sure to pop back and visit us again!  Today we are providing sneak peeks of products from the new Occasions that takes effect from 3rd January to 3 June 2019.  Sale-A-Bration last from 3rd January 2019 to 31st March 2019.

The Tea Time framelits dies perfectly coordinate with the Tea Together stamp set and are
FREE with a product purchase of $180 during Sale-A-Bration

For this very simple card, I started with a base of Lovely Lipstick to which I added a layer of one of the designs from the All My Love Designer Series Paper - which is gorgeous!

I stamped the Tea Together images with Gray Granite ink and did a little rough colouring with some of my Stampin' Up Watercolour Pencils.  I found that the Melon Mambo, Old Olive and Pacific Point colours worked well.  I spread the colour with an Aqua Painter.

I'm not very good at fussy cutting, so I was very excited to obtain the coordinating Tea Time Framelit dies from the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue.  Even more exciting - they were FREE with my $180 product purchase!

I glued the teapot and cup to the piece of Crumb Cake cardstock and then used an Early Espresso watercolour pencil and aqua painter to add a little shadow underneath.

I'm loving the new Butterfly Gala bundle and All My Love papers in the new Occasions Catalogue

I stamped the Lovely Lattice image with Crumb Cake ink onto Shimmery White cardstock, coloured it with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers and then cut it out.

I adhered this to a piece of Whisper White cardstock layered with Crumb Cake and another piece of Whisper White.

The base card is Crumb Cake and I added a layer of one of the gorgeous papers from the All My Love Designer Series Paper.

I stamped the butterfly with Merry Merlot ink and coloured with the Stampin' Blends before cutting it out with the coordinating punch.  I then adhered it to the card using some little bits of Stampin' Dimensions under the wings to provide some depth.

I cut the words with the Well-Written Framelits from Lovely Lipstick cardstock and adhered them to the card.

As a last step, I added some Faceted Dots to the centres of some of the flowers.

Lace Dynamic Promenade - Sneak Peek Occasions Catalogue

We had a massive storm here in Sydney yesterday that wiped out our power, which is my excuse for being late to post this blog!

Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder with Beautiful Promenade stamp set

The Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder will be available from 3rd January in the Occasions Catalogue and it's a beauty!

I used a watercolour pencil to gently colour the little embossed flowers and then smoothed the look with an aquapainter.  I also added a little pearl in the centre of each flower.

The larger flower is from the Beautiful Promenade stamp set.  I gold heat embossed it on Rich Razzleberry cardstock (sorry the photo has come out a little dark).  Having cut it out with the coordinating die from the Beautiful Layers Framelits, I placed a Faceted Dot into the centre.
