To A Wild Rose on Lace 3D

This is my first use of To A Wild Rose and I was a bit hesitant before I started - I've never been very good at three step stamping.  BUT .... I needn't have worried - everything lined up really easily - it was, in fact, a breeze to use with a stunning result!

What could make a gorgeous and easy to use stamp set even better? .... coordinating dies!  And the Wild Rose dies are really versatile as they include a lacy die and a gorgeous label as well as the florals.

Could things get any better? ... YES!  Buy the stamp set and dies as a bundle and get a discount of 10% !!

I used Petal Pink and Calypso Coral inks on Petal Pink cardstock for the flower and Mint Macaron and Shaded Spruce inks on Mint Macaron cardstock for the leaves.

The Lace 3D embossing folder is perfect for creating elegant backgrounds.  This time, I swiped one side of the folder with Versamark before I added the cardstock (which I had wiped with an Embossing Buddy) and then heat embossed with black embossing powder.

The sentiment is from the Magnolia Blooms stamp set and I cut it out with one of the Smooth Sailing dies.

Lace Embossing: Copper on Champagne

This is the blonde little sister to the bold and dramatic copper and black card I shared on Wednesday.  To achieve this softer, more feminine look I used Champagne Foil Sheet and Copper Heat Embossing and the same technique as described here.

A soft, feminine and pretty card: Champagne Foil embossed with the Lace Embossing Folder
the heat embossed with copper embossing powder
The base card is Gray Granite with a layer of Petal Pink.

I added some Gray Granite and Copper  Ribbon.  The greeting is from the Eastern Beauty stamp set punched out with the 1" Circle Punch.  I then added a Gray Granite layer behind it that I cut with a die from the Stitched Labels set.

In the centre of each of the Basic Adhesive Backed Sequins there is a small Rhinestone that I coloured with the Bronze Stampin' Blend alcohol marker.

For those that like to know these things:
The base card is 9 1/2" x 8 3/8" folded in half to 4 3/4" x 8 3/8"
The pink layer is cut one inch smaller ie 3 3/4" x 7 3/4"

Lace Embossing: Black on Copper

Back to the metallic embossing!  This is one of my favourites!  I'll show you it's blonde little sister on Friday.
#thecraftythinker #stampinup #cardmaking #embossingtechniques #masculinecard #laceembossingfolder , Lace embossing folder, embossing techniques, Copper Foil Sheet, Stampin' Up Australia Demonstrator, Stephanie Fischer, Sydney NSW
A very elegant but dramatic card.  Copper foil embossed with the Lace embossing folder
then heat embossed with black.
I used Copper Foil Sheet and black heat embossing for this one, using the same technique as for these cards and these ones but using the Lace embossing folder.

The greeting from the Painted Glass stamp set was black heat embossed onto a small piece of Copper Foil Sheet and then stamp out with the Tailored Tag Punch.  I then punch two more Tailored Tags from Basic Black Cardstock.  One I cut in half horizontally and the other was cut in half vertically.  I then glued all the pieces to the back to create a black edge around the copper label.

I folded some Black Shimmer Ribbon and Black Mini Sequin Trim and glued them behind the label, cutting the ends at an angle and then adhered the label to the card front.

Dimensions:
The dimensions for this card are a little odd - I built them around the embossed centrepiece.
Base Card: 8 3/4" x 6 3/4" folded in half to finished size 4 3/8" x 6 3/4"
Foil: 4 1/8" x 6 1/2"
Black: 3 3/8" x 5 3/4"
Embossed centre: 3 1/8" x 5 6/8"

Beautiful You Get Well Card

A beautiful, and very energetic, colleague is about to have a knee replacement and so I've made a card for her - ready to send to her after her surgery.

Beautiful You paired with the new Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

My message inside will be something like "I hope you're soon up and dancing!".

I stamped the Beautiful You image with Petal Pink ink onto Shimmery White cardstock and then coloured it with Stampin' Blends using the following combinations: Balmy Blue, Night of Navy, Petal Pink and Soft Suede.

The base card is Balmy Blue and I embossed the Pacific Point layer with the Lace Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder - new in the 2019 Occasions Catalogue.

Thank you for visiting.
