Jessica has loads of wonderful inspiration on her blog but it was the one to the left that jumped out at me and said "CASE me!" I really like the classic layout and the simple colour palette.

So here's my version.  I kept the embossed panel and the two-colour palette and made only minor changes to the layout.  I haven't included a sentiment at this stage because this is a card that could cover a variety of occasions.

The returning Coastal Cabana colour is one of my favourites!
I especially love it paired with Night of Navy or Blueberry Bushel.

The base card is Night of Navy and the Coastal Cabana (Yay!! it's coming back!!!  I love that colour!) layer is embossed with the Seaside embossing folder.   The image from the Beautiful You stamp set is watercoloured with Night of Navy, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Petal Pink and Soft Suede inks.

A classic layout and simple colour palette draws the eye to the stamped image

The stamped panel is popped up on Stampin' Dimensionals.

Hexagonal Daffodil Delight

I had a daisy left over from a demonstration and was wondering what to do with it.  I had also been demonstrating a variety of techniques with embossing folders, including inking them and/or inking over the embossed surfaces ... and so was born this card!

The embossed piece of Night of Navy card is inked with Craft White ink

Only one more sleep until the new 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue products are released, including the Daisy Delight Bundle, Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set, Double Stitched Ribbon (here in Daffodil Delight), Berry Burst ink and Faceted Gems (I've used a gold one).

The Hexagons embossing folder was inked with Night of Navy before use.
A brayer was used to add Daffodil Delight ink to the raised embossing.

The remainder of the products that I have used are already available and continuing into the new Catalogue.

The daisy image was stamped twice, twisting the stamp to offset the petals

I stamped the daisies onto Whisper White cardstock with Basic Black ink and then watercoloured them with Berry Burst ink and some Daffodil Delight for the centres.   For the daisy on the front of the card, I stamped two then punched them out with the matching punch and attached them together, offsetting the petals.  For the daisy inside the card, I simply stamped twice, offsetting the petals.

Thank you for your visit.

Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with Jennifer Michalski - Bold Butterflies

Welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop with our Special Guest stamper, the very talented Jennifer Michalski - we are thrilled to have her join us this month and so excited to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) any project that has been created by her.  We hope you find great inspiration from the projects.

This is Jennifer's card that I have chosen to CASE.  I like the colour combination of Dapper Denim and Peekaboo Peach and also the simplicity of the design.  To see more details about Jennifer's card, click on the image to link to her blog.

For my card, I kept the colour combination and the basic layout design.

This is my CASE of Jennifer's card.

Dapper Denim and Peekaboo Peach make good companions for each other!

I exchanged butterflies for hearts, changed to the Seaside embossing folder and used Ruched Ribbon rather than a die cut.

The top butterfly is adhered flat to the card front, the middle butterfly is popped up on a layer of dimensionals and the lower butterfly has a double layer of dimensionals.

The greeting is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamped in Peekaboo Peach on Whisper White cardstock that has been cut with one of the dies from Bunch of Banners.

I hope you've enjoyed this card and I welcome your comments.
