Feels Like Frost Quick and Easy Christmas Cards

Christmas card made very quickly with Feels Like Frost paper, Stitched Nested Labels and Beautiful Boughs dies

Continuing my quest to create lots of quick and easy Christmas cards ... this is the "other side" of the gorgeous Feels Like Frost Speciality Designer Series Paper that makes Christmas card making really easy!

Bulk Christmas cards are quick and easy to make with the Feels Like Frost papers!

Always mindful of avoiding wastage ... I used the leftover cardstock (from cutting the labels above) and offcuts of the pretty paper to make more cards and then used extra bits and pieces from my table to finish decorating.  I figure if someone receives a hand made Christmas card, they're not going to complain if I put a gold embossed bauble on a piece of silver paper!

Using up the remnants - one way to avoid wastage!

Two Christmas Cards featuring the Brightly Gleaming Suite

An easy Christmas card to make using the Brightly Gleaming Suite and Beautiful Boughs dies

This is such a simple card but it ended up rather "busy".  However, there's always a place for a busy Christmas card.

The base card is Gray Granite to which I added a triangle of Pretty Peacock and then set about decorating.  I used elements cut with the Beautiful Boughs and Seasonal Layers dies as well as some Brightly Gleaming Foil Elements.  For a bit of extra sparkle, I added some Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Then I made another using the same methodology but reversed colours.  I placed circles of Gray Granite behind the copper baubles and added a few Star Designer Elements and a greeting cut from the Classic Weave Ribbon.

My aim was to make use of the Brightly Gleaming Foil Elements that I purchased as part of the Brightly Gleaming Suite Bundle.  There's a very generous amount of elements in the pack!

Golden Dashing Deer Christmas Card

Golden Glitz metallic ink is everywhere in this Christmas card

This card uses another of the watercolour backgrounds that I made with Golden Glitz metallic ink.

The Dashing Deer is stamped onto Blackberry Bliss cardstock with Golden Glitz ink and then cut out with the coordinating Detailed Deer die.

TIP:  By using a Stamparatus you can stamp over and over again until you're happy with the depth of colour achieved.

The frame is cut from Gold Foil Sheet with Stitched Rectangle dies.

The foliage is cut from Blackberry Bliss card and the little flowers are cut with dies in the Detailed Deer die set.

Gold Swirl Christmas Card with Foliage: Watercolour background with metallic ink

Simple die cuts to complement the gorgeous rich watercolour background in this non-traditional Christmas card

So this is how I used the other half of the watercolour background I made the other day.

As before, I didn't want to cover up that gorgeous rich background with shimmery Golden Glitz ink, so I kept the decorations minimalist.

I shortened the Gold Foil Stitched Rectangle using this method.

I made lots of different backgrounds with the same ink "puddle"
