Feels Like Frost Quick and Easy Christmas Cards

Christmas card made very quickly with Feels Like Frost paper, Stitched Nested Labels and Beautiful Boughs dies

Continuing my quest to create lots of quick and easy Christmas cards ... this is the "other side" of the gorgeous Feels Like Frost Speciality Designer Series Paper that makes Christmas card making really easy!

Bulk Christmas cards are quick and easy to make with the Feels Like Frost papers!

Always mindful of avoiding wastage ... I used the leftover cardstock (from cutting the labels above) and offcuts of the pretty paper to make more cards and then used extra bits and pieces from my table to finish decorating.  I figure if someone receives a hand made Christmas card, they're not going to complain if I put a gold embossed bauble on a piece of silver paper!

Using up the remnants - one way to avoid wastage!

Feels Like Frost Set of Christmas Cards - Quick and easy!

Simple and quick Christmas card using the Feels Like Frost paper and Christmas Gleaming bundle

I needed to make a lot more Christmas cards and I still had loads of Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I hadn't really used the photographic side of the papers and discovered that it was a perfect way to create some pretty but simple cards VERY quickly!  Perfect!

Same paper, different orientation and the addition of an Ornate Frames die

This time I used the Dashing Deer stamp set, coordinating Detailed Deer die  and a Glimmer Paper "star"
using a die from the Detailed Deer set 

I matched this piece of the paper with Merry Merlot ink and cardstock

Feels Like a Frosty Deer - A Christmas Card

A quick and easy Christmas card using the Dashing Deer stamp set and coordinating Detailed Deer dies
as well as the Feels Like Frost paper and Silvery Shimmer metallic ink

This card is so elegant, so pretty and soooo easy!

To the Basic Black base card I added a layer of Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I then added a torn piece of Whisper White card to the bottom and stamped the greeting from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set.

On this version of the Christmas card, I used the greeting included in the Dashing Deer stamp set

Using Basic Black cardstock, Silvery Shimmer metallic ink and my Stamparatus, I stamped the image from the Dashing Deer stamp set several times until I was happy with the depth of colour.  Then I cut out the deer with the coordinating Detailed Deer die and adhered it to the card front.

TIP:  Since they are pigment inks, the Delicata metallic inks take quite a bit of time to dry.  To avoid smudging, either leave plenty of drying time or speed up the process a bit with a heat tool.

Feels Like Frosty Grape, Christmas Card

Feels Like Frost paper - so versatile: just add ink for a paper to suite any project

The Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper is soooo versatile!  Beautiful photographic imagery on one side and white with silver foil designs on the other.  The white and silver is incredibly elegant but you can sponge on some ink to create a gorgeous paper in any colour to suit your mood or needs!

The silver foil resists the ink, so simply give it a gentle wipe with a tissue afterwards to remove any surface ink.

For this card, I used a Sponge Brayer to add Gorgeous Grape ink.  The result was stunning and I could have just left it at that.  .... But this is me!  So I cut some foliage with the Frosted Bouquet dies from Blackerry  Bliss and Champagne Foil Sheet (I could have used silver but thought the champagne would show up better)

The greeting is from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set, black heat embossed onto Silver Foil and cut out with the Ornate Frames dies.
