Welcome to the Crazy Crafters' Blog Hop with our Special Guest stamper, Valerie Moody - we are thrilled to have Valerie join us this month and so excited to CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) any project that has been created by her .

Stampin' Up! - Flourishing Phrases - Wedding Gift Box - Artisan Design Team Blog Hop - Valerie Moody. XIt was very difficult to make a decision because it turns out that I really love Valerie's work and found inspiration at every turn but this is Valerie's project I eventually chose to CASE, taking inspiration from the frame and flowers.  Click on the image of her card to link to Valerie's blog.

The Botanical Builder Framelits remain one of my very favourite die sets - they make it so easy to create something very pretty!

So this is the card that I made.

The frame and corner of flowers inspired by Valerie Moody's gift box
This was such a quick and simple card to make but I'm so happy with the result.  I made it for a friend who is moving into a new home.

The base card is a 51/2" square in Night of Navy.  To that I added a layer of paper from the beautiful Floral Boutique pack and then used another sheet to create the frame with Layering Squares framelits.  I cut a variety of flowers and foliage using the Botanical Builder framelits with Peekaboo Peach, Pink Pirouette, Flirty Flamingo and Pear Pizzazz cardstock.  For the flower centres, I used Enamel Shapes in Night of Navy and Pink Pirouette.

I placed a layer of Whisper White behind the frame and stamped the greeting on it with Tangerine Tango ink.

The same colours appear inside the card in the form of stamped flowers

To decorate the inside corner of the card, I used the Blooms & Wishes stamp set with Peekaboo Peach and Flirty Flamingo inks.  I added a flower centre to the larger flower with Night of Navy ink and used a Night of Navy marker to add centres to the other flowers by hand.

I hope you've enjoyed this card and I welcome your comments.

The addition of some Metal Rimmed Pearls makes the flowers pop & I changed out the greeting

A few days ago I turned my mind to the table decorations for our upcoming Thanksgiving celebration - which I call our Gratitude Gathering.  You can see what I made here.

Blooms & Wishes inside the card

I was torn between sticking to a traditional autumnal theme or being more seasonal - given that it's Spring here in Australia.  I made samples of both and was eventually persuaded to go with the traditional - leaving me with a spare floral cutlery pouch.

How it looked as a cutlery pouch!

So - I decided to turn the cutlery pouch into a card.  The 6" Island Indigo base card is layered with a complimentary piece of the Blooms & Bliss Designer Series paper.

To make Island Indigo Bakers Twine, I put a couple of drops of Island Indigo Refill ink in a small container with a little water then added a length of Whisper White Thick Baker's Twine, making sure it was completely soaked in the ink and then left it to dry.

Thanks for visiting my blog today, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don't want to miss. We know that you will love our gallery of projects made by Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators around the world!

I hope you've enjoyed this card and I welcome your comments.

I chose this card of Tami's as my inspiration piece.  I've never used circles in this way and find it a very interesting design.  I was keen to see if I could use a similar layout for a feminine card.

This is such a sweet little cat image!

I bought the Pretty Kitty stamp set because not only do I like cats myself but several of my friends and family members describe themselves as crazy cat ladies!  I took this opportunity to ink it up for the first time.  I watercoloured it with Smoky Slate, Basic Grey, Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo, Sweet Sugarplum, Mint Macaron and Emerald Envy inks.

I used the Festive embossing folder and Tip Top Taupe mini striped ribbon to set off the Blooms & Bliss DSP, Rich Razzleberry, Blushing Bride and Sweet Sugarplum cardstock.  I cut the circles with the Layering Circles dies.
