Christmas party invitations

How lucky I am to work with a great team of people!  This year I decided to make proper invitations to the Christmas dinner.

A sweet little invitation to the annual office Christmas party

Each invitation is made from 1/4 of a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock folded in half.  To this I added a layer of Very Vanilla cardstock which I first spritzed with a little water and embossed with the gorgeous Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder which gives an amazingly deep and crisp embossed pattern.

The words "Christmas" and "Party Time" are from the Designer Tin of Cards stamp set.  I stamped them in Stazon ink onto Gold Foil Sheet before cutting them out with one of the oval Stitched Shapes Framelits (now my favourite framelits!)

I added some pine boughs and a Classy Designer Button (threaded with Cherry Cobbler twine) and voila - all finished in no time!

Lovely As A Copper Tree

This masculine card is for a friend of ours who loves nature and has a beautiful garden.  Unfortunately, I struggled with the photography with the gorgeous copper shine and I have to say that the card is much more handsome in person!

This card is entered into this week's Crazy Crafters Project Highlights which you can visit here to see all the great projects and vote for your favourites.

All things copper - foil sheet, embossing powder & metallic thread
My all-time favourite stamp from Lovely As A Tree is heat embossed with the gorgeous copper embossing powder.  I filled the foreground by wrapping Copper Metallic Thread around the card many times.  I stamped the leaf image onto Copper Foil Sheet with Stazon ink.  The banner is from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set and is stamped in Basic Black ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock (although it has come out looking a bit white in the photo).

Thank you for visiting.

International Project Highlights - Love:

Welcome to our International Visual Blog Hop using current Stampin' Up!® Products. We have all created this gallery of projects for you to be inspired by! We would love it if you could visit every one of our blogs and see a close up of our projects. Our theme this month is LOVE because as card makers we love spreading the love. You can see the gallery below and this will be on every blog that you click on so you will never be lost.

We can never have or give too much love, right?!  I'm so grateful for the love and support of my wonderful husband that I'm sure I'll be giving this card to him in the very near future.

A Paisley expression of love

I used the Paisleys & Posies stamp set to create the background but stamped more of the paisleys and less of the posies for a masculine look.  I stamped with Basic Black ink and coloured with a Real Red Stampin' Write Marker.

The greeting is from the Painter's Palette stamp set and I cut it out with one of the oval Stitched Shapes framelits which I layered on top of one of the scalloped Layered Ovals framelits.

The Basic Black Stitched Satin Ribbon and Real Red Cotton Ribbon are both from my stash of retired ribbon - for which I apologise but they were the only ones I had that did the job for this card.

Thanks for visiting my blog today, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don't want to miss. We know that you will love our gallery of projects made from Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators around the world! Thanks for visiting.
