Country Floral Simplicity

This card uses the last of the experimental pieces I did the other day with the Country Floral embossing folder and Pineapple Punch ink.  This one is embossed onto So Saffron card.

The addition of Pineapple Punch to the Country Floral embossing folder
enhances the pattern on the So Saffron cardstock

The base card is Crushed Curry followed by a layer of Whisper White.

The Country Floral embossing is too pretty to cover up, so I made a stack of Whisper White and So Saffron ovals and clipped them together with one of the cute little paper clips in the Share What You Love Embellishment Kit (which I acquired FREE in Sale-A-Bration with my $90 purchase).

I hooked a bit of the Organdy Ribbon underneath the paper clip and then also added a little bow.  I was lucky enough to receive the ribbon free as a Sale-A-Bration item but I understand the stocks disappeared very quickly.

The sentiment is from the Label Me Pretty stamp set.

The Country Floral Embossing Folder is FREE (while stocks last) until 31st March with a product purchase of $90.  Click here to learn more about the great Sale-A-Bration deals to take advantage before it ends on 31st March.

Country Floral Layers

I made this card to use up some left-overs from the card I shared yesterday.

Using up leftovers for this inked, embossed card
The base card is Pineapple Punch.  That's followed by a layer of Whisper White, from which the centre was removed.  Then the embossed layer from which I cut the oval for the previous card.  The thin oval frame was a discarded piece from a previous card.

The sentiment, stamped with Crushed Curry ink, is from the Wonderful Moments stamp set and the little decorative pieces that so nicely fit each end of the oval are from the Label Me Pretty stamp set.

The Country Floral Embossing Folder is FREE (while stocks last) until 31st March with a product purchase of $90.  Click here for more information about the amazing Sale-A-Bration deals - it all comes to an end on 31st March.

Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop - Easter - Country Floral Embossing Folder

No photo description available.
Welcome to the monthly Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop.  You are currently visiting Stephanie Fischer (The Crafty Thinker) from Australia.  When you've finished here, please use the list below to move on to the next person - that way you won't miss anything!

In keeping with our theme of providing Easter inspiration, I've used colours that I associate with Easter (having grown up in the Northern Hemisphere where Easter coincides with Spring) and Layering Ovals to provide an egg shape.

Country Floral embossing folder inked up with Pineapple Crush ink.
I have kept it rather generic, so this card could, in fact, be used for almost any occasion.

Experimenting with ink on the Country Floral embossing folder
It started out as experimentation with the Country Floral embossing folder.  The piece on the left is inked with Pineapple Crush on the flat side of the folder and I used Whisper White card.  The middle one was inked on the bumpy side of the folder and the last one used the same technique as the first one but I used So Saffron card.

The finished card uses the debossed piece as a first layer and then I cut ovals from some Pineapple Crush and Whisper White card as well as from the first embossed piece.

The sentiment is from the Florentine Filigree stamp set and I punched the banner with the Duet Banner Punch from Whisper White and Pear Pizzazz card.

The Country Floral Embossing Folder is FREE (while stocks last) until 31st March with a product purchase of $90.  Click here for more information about the amazing Sale-A-Bration deals.

Thank you for visiting.  I hope you enjoyed this card.  You are currently visiting Stephanie Fischer - please see the list below and click on the next person on the list to hop through all of the people to see all of our projects.  You don't want to miss any!

Woodland 3 ways

The Woodland Embossing folder is one of the great new products in the 2015 Holiday Catalogue which will be launched on 1st September.  One of the benefits of being a Demonstrator is the pleasure of pre-ordering from new catalogues.

I can't believe that I nearly didn't buy this beautiful embossing folder!  It took me a while to see its versatility and what I could do with it.  I really had a lot of fun with it yesterday!
SU, sponged embossing, coloured embossing, masculine card
There's a masculine feel to this card
I thought this would be good for a masculine birthday card.  I embossed some Lost Lagoon card and then sponged the trees with Lost Lagoon and Soft Suede.  Then I layered it onto a piece of Soft Suede before adhering it to my Island Indigo card.  I stamped, coloured and fussy cut the stag from the Wilderness Awaits stamp set and then stamped the greeting from Tag Talk in Soft Suede onto Sahara Sand card and punched it out.

SU, Xmas card, Hello December 2015, bending stamps
"Hello up there!"
This time I embossed Whisper White cardstock.  I ran my 2-way glue pen over the embossing and then sprinkled with Dazzling Diamonds glitter. Then I layered this onto my card of Thick Whisper White.  I stamped the bear from White Christmas, added a little shading with Soft Sky ink and fussy cut him before sticking him down.  He's looking up at the bird from Santa's Gifts which I stamped onto Whisper White, Coloured and cut out.  The greeting is from Happy Scenes - I just manipulated it to fit into the banner from Project Life Hello December 2015 (one of the advantages of photopolymer stamps!).  I coloured it with Soft Sky and Pool Party inks and cut it out.  I placed it at an angle in the corner to complete my triangular composition.
SU, Christmas Card, Inking embossing folders
Let's go, Rudolph!
I inked my embossing folder with Soft Sky ink before I added the Whisper White card and ran it through the Big Shot to get a coloured background.  Santa and rudolph are both from the Santa's Gifts stamp set.  I added some Dazzling Diamonds to Santa's fur and Rudolph's nose.  The greeting is from Petite Pairs which I punched out with the Large Oval punch.  The base card is Soft Sky.

I hope you enjoyed these cards.
