Wonderful Moments 21st Birthday

#thecraftythinker #stampinup #cardmaking #wonderfulmoments #21stbirthdaycard #stampinblends , Wonderful Moments, 21st birthday card, Stampin' Up Demonstrator, Stephanie Fischer, Sydney NSW
Wonderful Moments birthday card
This card is for my son's gorgeous girlfriend.  She looks stunning with her pink and blue hair, pale skin and long limbs.  It's the look I would have loved to have as a youngster but, sadly, lacked the courage (and the physique)!

I'm afraid I resorted to using my retired set of little numbers but everything else is current.

Thank you for visiting.
'Til next time!

Wonderful Moments Baby Shower Card

A little while ago, I made a bunch of backgrounds with Brusho and embossing folders.  This is one of them.  I've sponged a little bit of Lovely Lipstick ink over the top of the embossing since you last saw it to enhance those gorgeous dots.

I used the Wonderful Moments stamp set and a brusho/embossing folder background
to make this card for a baby shower
I stamped the image with Powder Pink ink onto Petal Pink cardstock and coloured it with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.  The card is layered with Lovely Lipstick and So Saffron cardstock.

Since had no matching ribbon in my stash (I know - how is that possible!), I coloured some white ribbon.  At first I coloured it in my usual way by sitting it in a little bath of ink and water (I used So Saffron) but once it dried, I realised it wasn't the colour I wanted.  So I applied Light Lovely Lipstick with a Stampin' Blend alcohol marker.  That turned out a bit too intense, so I spritzed it with alcohol and spread the colour with my finger!  Now I'm happy!

Ready For Decorating The Christmas Tree

I love the ritual of putting up and decorating the Christmas tree.  It's always more fun with the help of family members and we sing along to Christmas Carols as we go.  When we've finished, as night falls, we sit in the darkness watching the twinkling lights and celebrate our creativity with a festive drink!

This Christmas card features a lady putting the star on top of her Christmas tree

Perhaps we should all have a stairway to nowhere in our homes - apparently it makes it a breeze to put the star on top of the Christmas tree!  Ooops - I didn't really think that one through, did I?

The Christmas tree was adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals to add depth to the card.

I decided to place the table legs under the tree because the composition seemed to be lacking something - perhaps this lady likes the convenience of an artificial tree.

The little baubles are stamped with Vegas Gold Shimmer Paint and coloured with a variety of Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.
