This card is for my son's gorgeous girlfriend.  She looks stunning with her pink and blue hair, pale skin and long limbs.  It's the look I would have loved to have as a youngster but, sadly, lacked the courage (and the physique)!

I'm afraid I resorted to using my retired set of little numbers but everything else is current.

Wildly Happy Elephant - A Baby Card

The Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper is so versatile - it's not just for Christmas!

A baby card featuring the elephants from the Wildly Happy stamp set and Brightly Gleaming paper

This sweet little card is to celebrate the birth of a friend's first grandchild - very exciting!  I chose to use the elephants from the Wildly Happy stamp set because the family are originally from South Africa and they have an African theme in the nursery.  It also goes with the elephant print cot sheets that we gifted.

I stamped the elephants with Tuxedo Black Memento ink and coloured the scene with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.

I shortened the Stitched Shape Rectangle using this method.

My flower didn't turn out exactly as I wanted it because, lacking Purple Posy ink, I stamped the image with Petal Pink which shows more than I would have liked.

The flower is coloured with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.

It's very difficult to capture in a photograph the beautiful shiny colour of the Noble Peacock Foil Sheets!

Beautiful Day in Garden Lane

Making "thank you" cards is serving a dual purpose for me at the moment.  As well as creating cards to thank my friends and family for their support, I'm creating an "attitude of gratitude" around myself which I'm finding very helpful.

The Beautiful Day flower was coloured with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers and then fussy cut

I coloured the Beautiful Day flower with Stampin' Blends alcohol markers and cut it out.  The greeting is stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink and cut out with one of the Merry Christmas dies before edging with a bit more of the Gorgeous Grape ink.  The tag was too long for the greeting, so I made it a bit shorter by using this method.
