Incredibly quick and easy Christmas card made with Stampin' Up products
from the August-December 2020 Mini Catalogue

As always with metallic cards, I had enormous problems photographing this card! I haven't done it justice - it looks so much prettier in person!

Such an easy but elegant Christmas card!
Forever Gold and Plush Poinsettia Specialty Papers,  Poinsettia Die

This card continues with my exploration of the Poinsettia Place Suite and the more I use it, the more I love it!  See more here and  here.

This card was sooo quick and easy!

I made a base card with Thick Whisper White card, then cut layers with Gold Foil Sheet and normal Whisper White.  I gave the top white layer some texture with the Subtle Embossing Folder and then adhered the gold centre piece from the Forever Gold Specialty Paper.

TIP:  To minimise usage, I like to cut out the centres of my metallic layers, leaving a frame shape which is covered by the top layer!

With the coordinating Poinsettia Dies, it's so easy to cut out soft, velvety Plush Poinsettias!

The flower was really easy to cut from the Plush Poinsettia paper using the coordinating Poinsettia die.  Then I just added one of the Beaded Pearls to finish it off!

All of the large poinsettias on this sheet fit the die.

I hope you've enjoyed the card you've seen here on my blog today.  You are currently visiting Stephanie Fischer.

Poinsettia Petals Bundle with Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper in traditional colours

Following on from Friday's card, more fun with the Poinsettia Petals Bundle from the Poinsettia Place Suite.

This time I heat embossed the images from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set and cut them out with the coordinating Poinsettia Dies before arranging them onto a layer of the Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper.

For both cards I used Cherry Cobbler cardstock and cut the label out with one of the Ornate Frames dies.  For the top card I also used Shaded Spruce card and ink, All The Trimmings ribbon and Wonderful Gems

Slightly less traditional colour scheme for this Xmas card made with Poinsettia Petals Bundle

For the second card I used  white heat embossing, Pretty Peacock card and ink, Beaded Pearls, Elegant Faceted Gems and Snowflake Splendor ribbon.

Items from the August-December 2020 Mini Catalogue will be available from 4 August.

If you live in Australia and would like a copy of this gorgeous catalogue, please contact me.

Poinsettia on Frosted Florals

I used White Velvet Paper for this one (which is no longer available, I made this card way back in October!) so the poinsettia has a lovely soft texture but normal Whisper White cardstock will produce an excellent result!
#thecraftythinker #christmascard #cardmaking #poinsettiacard #rootedinnature #stampinup , Christmas card, Poinsettia, Rooted in Nature, Frosted Florals SDSP, Stampin Up Australia Demonstrator, Stephanie Fischer, Sydney NSW
A simple Christmas card with a Rooted in Nature poinsettia

This is in fact a very simple card!  Simply layer a couple of sheets of the stunning Frosted Florals Specialty Designer Series Paper, add a piece of Tranquil Tide Velvet Ribbon, a greeting and the poinsettia made with leaves from the Rooted in Nature Bundle.

TIP:  I stick the leaves to a punched circle of cardstock (any scrap will do - it doesn't show!).

Thank you for visiting.

Layered Poinsettia Christmas Card

Layering is such a great way to create a luxurious looking card whilst using up those pesky little oddments that you don't want to throw away!
#thecraftythinker #stampinup #poinsettia #christmascard #cardmaking #joyousnoel , poinsettia card, layering, Christmas card, Joyous Noel, Stampin' Up Australia Demonstrator, Stephanie Fischer, Sydney NSW
Gold, copper, granite and merlot - a luxurious combination!

Each of the leaves in the Poinsettia were gold heat embossed onto Vellum and then coloured on the back with Stampin' Blends in green and red.

I then scored them down the middle and pressed the fold with my bone folder before building and adhering the poinsettia following the instructions set out by my friend and fellow Crazy Crafter, the talented Jessie Holton.

I added a leftover strip of the gorgeous paper inside the card too
