Florentine Thank You

This card is very personal to me.  It's a very heartfelt thank you to the very talented and compassionate radiographer who tried and succeeded where others had given up.  I'm so very grateful for the early diagnosis she has provided - it's a game-changer.

Saying thank you with the Florentine Filigree Bundle
I cut two sets with the Florentine Thinlit, one in Balmy Blue and one in Blueberry Bushel , offset them and adhered them to the Gray Granite base card.

I then used the largest Stitched Rectangle die to cut the Blueberry Bushel frame.

I used the coordinating Florentine Filigree stamp set and Blueberry Bushel ink to stamp into the centre of the larger cutouts.  TIP:  Since I was stamping over two layers of cardstock, I inked and stamped with only one image on the stamp (the stamp actually stamps five images at once) to avoid smudging ink onto the lattice.

I then added Rhinestones which I had coloured with a Dark Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blend alcohol marker.

I stamped the greeting onto Gray Granite with Blueberry Bushel ink and cut it out with one of the Layering Ovals dies.  I then used one of the Stitched Shapes dies to cut a layer from Blueberry Bushel cardstock.

For the finishing touch I added a Breast Cancer ribbon cut from Flirty Flamingo cardstock with one of the Support Ribbon framelits.

The Florentine Thinlit and Florentine Filigree stamp set is retiring and will only be available until 2nd June or while stocks last.

Thank you for visiting.
'Til next time!
Stephanie
