Today we are sharing Christmas Cards!  

A simply and elegant card featuring the stunning Christmas Gleaming Suite

This card is a CASE (Copy And Selectively Edit) of some of my previous cards and features the simply stunning Christmas Gleaming Bundle and Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper.  The copper and Night of Navy in this particular sheet are such an elegant combination!  It's a simple design that lends itself to mass-production and to avoid waste, the centres cut from the copper sheet and designer paper can be used in other cards.

Just LOVE that stunningly elegant Brightly Gleaming paper and the Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set!

Another Christmas card in my mix and match Christmas Gleaming series

Here is another card that uses up leftovers!  I find that using the Stitched Rectangles to cut layers gives me lots of mix and match opportunities and there's very little waste!

Peacock Christmas Gleaming

An elegant, rich Christmas card that uses up leftovers!

Today's card uses up some leftovers from this card.  

I added a layer of Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper to the Pretty Peacock base card followed by a small Very Vanilla rectangle with a Copper Foil Sheet frame placed on top.

The bauble was a leftover from a previous card and was stamped with Celestial Copper metallic ink.  The holly was copper heat embossed onto Very Vanilla cardstock and then I watercoloured it with  Pretty Peacock and Cherry Cobbler ink.

Welcome to the monthly Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop.  You are currently visiting Stephanie Fischer (The Crafty Thinker) from Australia.

Our theme this month is to provide inspiration for Christmas projects and mine is really simple and easy to replicate for bulk lots of cards ... and the leftovers can be used to make another elegant design of card (see my next post, on 17 November, to see that card!).  

A simple and easy to bulk produce Christmas card featuring lush copper and the Brightly Gleaming Suite

The holly is copper heat embossed on Very Vanilla cardstock and then hand cut.

The layers of Very Vanilla, Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper and Copper Foil Sheet are all cut with Stitched Rectangles dies.  The greeting is a segment of the Classic Weave Ribbon that's part of the Brightly Gleaming Suite of products.

TIP:  Use Stitched Rectangle dies to cut the centres from each of the layers and save the resulting rectangles and frames for use in another project.

The copper creates a beautiful rich, warm shimmer in this Christmas card

Good Morning Magnolia Emboss Resist Watercolour Wash

A soft, feminine birthday card featuring the Good Morning Magnolia image and quick and easy watercolouring

Let's take a little break from Christmas cards to celebrate a friend's birthday!

I clear heat embossed the floral image on Watercolor Paper and then spritzed the whole sheet generously with water before using a damp brush to add a very light, and rough, wash of Blueberry Bushel ink.

With the piece still damp, I added more Blueberry Bushel ink onto the petals and Shaded Spruce ink onto the leaves and stem, creating some shadows with darker shades of ink.

I finished by picking up both Blueberry Bushel and Shaded Spruce ink on a wet brush to add some shading around the image.

The greeting from Beautiful Day is stamped with Blueberry Bushel ink.

I adhered the painted layer to the Shaded Spruce base card and then added a Blueberry Bushel frame which was a by-product of cutting a rectangle for a previous card.
